Nothing shows the importance of relevance in search engine results like when it comes to humanitarian efforts. When spammers and scammers work overtime to make a quick buck on the misery of others, it is crucial for the search engines to weed out the useless and unproductive waste and provide only relevant sites that can truly help.

In this respect the three biggest search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing) seem to be in general agreement. From looking at the results it seems that Yahoo provides a little more geo-targeted result with a Canadian based site (we’re in Canada), whereas Google has most recent updates (within hours rather than days.)
